I am a 24-year old Pastor living in the suburbs just outside L.A.
I am focused on reaching those who are marginalized in our community.
I do this both through making disciples in the local church and by meeting physical and spiritual needs in the community.
At the church I attend, I serve as the Children's Pastor. Our ministry touches the lives of hundreds of kids every year. I get to love and serve families, walking alongside parents and kids as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
In the community, I serve underprivileged families by volunteering in a Homework Help program and I am currently pursuing other partnerships that would allow me to more effectively reach out to and care for families in need.
I love the idea of innovation as a leader – not so that radical changes are made, but so that timely and appropriate changes are made. Each day I look for what needs to be improved… I’m seeking out how I can become an even more effective leader in the local church and in the community.
I love experiments. I have found in my life that the best way for me to make significant positive change is to view it as an experiment. So I often live a very peculiar lifestyle. Sometimes my experiments fail - I'm ok with that.
For example, in order to stay out of debt in college I decided to live in my car for a short while and now I drive a scooter (think moped).
I live in Santa Clarita, California.
If you live locally, I’d love to meet up and get to know you. I’ll even buy you a cup of coffee.
I look forward to sharing my story with you throughout this blog and I hope that I get the opportunity to hear yours, because I believe each of our perspectives are significant.
